Ninety-Nine Individuals Appear in Court Following Police Operation
Ninety-nine individuals appeared before the Basic Court in Mitrovica today following an arrest operation conducted by the Kosovo Police. The operation targeted suspected pyramid schemes and illegal businesses operating in the municipalities of Mitrovica, Skenderaj, Vushtri, and Istog. According to a statement from the Basic Prosecution in Mitrovica, a request for the detention of 27 individuals has been submitted.
The prosecution spokesperson, Valon Preteni, confirmed the request, specifying that the individuals are currently under investigation in Vushtri, Mitrovica, and Skenderaj. The operation, launched on Saturday, involved a coordinated effort between the Kosovo Police and the Basic Prosecution. A total of 50 different locations were examined as part of the investigation.
