“Nuk luajmë në SHBA”, Irani kërcënon sërish për pjesëmarrjen në Botëror, ja kush përfiton

Iran has warned FIFA that it could withdraw from the 2026 World Cup if matches in Group G – against Belgium, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia – are not relocated from the United States to Mexico. The move follows serious concerns raised by Iranian officials regarding public safety. According to Sports Gazette Express, Ahmad Donyamali, Iran’s Minister of Sport, described the possibility of the national team playing in Los Angeles and Seattle as “highly unlikely.” He cited security concerns as the reason for the potential withdrawal.

FIFA is currently considering the possibility of hosting matches in the United States due to logistical challenges. Iran’s stance adds to the complexities surrounding the World Cup’s preparations.
