Isa Mustafa, a former leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has called on parliamentary parties to collaborate in the selection of a president. He stated that to avoid new elections, a political agreement is needed for a consensual figure. Mustafa added that such personalities exist, but the issue lies in the willingness of political parties to find a solution.
“If we want to elect or are willing as a position and opposition to make the president, then there must be room for agreement,” he said. “Positions and opposition must sit together and jointly agree on a personality who would do this job without political animation.”
