Water Supply Reduction Planned in Pristina Region
The “Pristina” Regional Water Supply Company (KRU “Pristina”) has announced temporary reductions in water supply due to a malfunction affecting a key infrastructure component. A 1200mm diameter primary pipe located in the Shkabat area has experienced a defect, requiring immediate repairs. The disruptions are planned for a period between 11:00 and 17:00 local time.
These reductions will primarily impact the municipalities of Fushë Kosova and Obilic. Additionally, a portion of Pristina’s water supply, including the Kalabria neighborhood, will be affected. KRU “Pristina” stated that further impacts on the water supply may extend to other areas within the capital.
Technical teams are currently on-site assessing the extent of the damage and implementing repair solutions. Residents in the affected areas are advised to conserve water during the scheduled interruptions. Updates on the repair progress and any further changes to the water supply schedule will be provided by KRU “Pristina.”
