A record is being broken by Usain Bolt? A robot humanoid that shocked the network.

Unitree Robotics Demonstrates Advanced Humanoid Robot Mobility

Unitree Robotics, a Chinese robotics company, has unveiled impressive test footage of its H1 humanoid robot, showcasing significant advancements in bipedal robot mobility. The robot achieved speeds of up to 10.1 meters per second on a track, representing a notable step forward in the field. Peak speeds reached approximately 36 kilometers per hour, though Unitree acknowledged potential minor measurement inaccuracies.

The demonstration highlights the robot’s performance, which closely mirrors the speed of former world record holder Usain Bolt. During his 2009 100-meter sprint, Bolt averaged approximately 10.44 meters per second. “10 m/s!!

Unitree breaks the world record again. With the physique of an ordinary human, running at the speed of a world champion,” the company stated in the accompanying video caption. This achievement marks a key development for Unitree’s H1 robot, demonstrating its potential for advanced movement capabilities.

The company’s continued progress in robotics is attracting attention within the industry. Further testing and development are planned to refine the robot’s performance and explore its applications.
