Maximum Prices for Derivatives Set Following Market Fluctuations
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation has announced maximum allowed prices for key derivatives, effective at 10:00 today. The finalized prices reflect recent shifts in global oil markets, influenced by announcements regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Oil will be priced at 1.74 euros per liter, while gas will be available at 0.88 euros per liter.
Gasoline prices will be 1.42 euros per liter, increasing by one cent from Friday’s rate. On Friday, the established maximum prices were: diesel (oil) at 1.74 euros per liter, gasoline at 1.43 euros per liter, and gas at 0.88 euros per liter. These price adjustments follow a significant decrease in global oil prices spurred by recent statements from Iran and U.S.
President Donald Trump concerning the full opening of the Strait of Hormuz for maritime traffic. The Ministry’s announcement aims to stabilize consumer prices following these developments. The information was initially reported by Telegrafi.
