Tirana Filmmaking Workshop Welcomes International Film Producer Ron Dyens
The “SKENA” workshop, a training program for Tirana high school students in filmmaking, is returning for its 11th edition. Founder and director, Valmir Tertini, announced a significant addition to this year’s program: renowned international film producer Ron Dyens. Dyens, a celebrated figure in the industry, is a recipient of an Oscar award, having achieved the honor in 2025 for his film “Flow.” This year, Dyens was again recognized by the Academy with a nomination for “Butterfly.”
Tertini emphasized the value of the program, stating, “Our students learn directly from names that today represent the elite of the global industry.” The workshop will feature lectures and workshops covering various aspects of film production.
This edition will focus on providing students with practical experience and insights into the filmmaking process. Participants will engage in sessions exploring key themes within the industry, guided by Dyens’ expertise. The presence of this oscars-winning producer promises to elevate the learning experience for the aspiring filmmakers.
