Skopje to Implement Traffic Restrictions for Annual Memorial Race
The Ministry of Interior of North Macedonia has announced a special traffic regime for Sunday, April 26th, 2026, between 09:00 and 13:30. The “Gjoko Kuzmanovski Memorial Race” will take place, commencing and concluding before the “Jane Sandanski” Cultural Center. Participants will navigate a designated route encompassing a section of “ASNOM” Boulevard, extending from the intersection with “Vasko Karangeleski” Street to the intersection with “Serbia” Boulevard.
Additionally, the race will include a portion of “Vasko Karangeleski” Street, running from the “ASNOM” Boulevard intersection to the side street near “Majcin Dom” in Skopje. To ensure participant and public safety, the Road Traffic Safety Unit will implement traffic redirection measures through surrounding streets. Specifically, traffic flow will be impacted at several key intersections.
The Ministry of Interior is requesting that all citizens respect the established traffic regulations and directions provided during the event. Further details regarding the route and traffic management will be disseminated prior to the race.
