Three Men Face Sentencing in Banjska Attack Case Today
Pristina, Kosovo – A verdict is scheduled to be announced today in the Basic Court of Pristina concerning three individuals accused in connection with the armed attack on Kosovo Police forces in Banjska, Zvečan, which occurred in September 2023. The hearing, set to begin at 3:00 PM, will determine the sentences for the defendants. The Special Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Kosovo (PSRK) has requested a life sentence for Vladimir Tolliqi, Blagoje Spasojeviq, and Dushan Maksimoviq, the three individuals formally charged in the case.
The accused have maintained their denials of involvement in the alleged acts. Additionally, the prosecution has submitted sentencing recommendations for Milan Radoiçi and forty-one other individuals currently in custody.
