Zogaj Criticizes Ruling Majority’s Approach in Kosovo
Prishtina, Kosovo – Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) member Alban Zogaj has voiced strong criticism of the current ruling majority’s strategy, asserting that a 51% parliamentary majority should be utilized to resolve existing challenges, rather than generating new crises. The comments were made in an interview with Gazeta Express published on April 24, 2026. Zogaj argued that the establishment of institutions and the significant majority mandate represent an opportunity to address pressing issues and advance state processes.
He stated, “When you have 51% and you have established the government and institutions, the rational would be to go towards solving the problem and continuing with work.”
According to Zogaj, recent developments indicate a lack of engagement with concrete work. He expressed concern that approaches are dominating that do not prioritize solutions. The LDK representative emphasized the need for the majority to focus on tangible progress and the resolution of existing problems, rather than creating new obstacles.
Zogaj’s remarks highlight a growing debate within Kosovo regarding the effectiveness of the current government’s strategy.
