Anant Ambani, the 30-year-old son of Mukesh Ambani, chairman and CEO of Reliance Industries, has acquired a bespoke watch from luxury American firm Jacob & Co. The timepiece is valued at approximately $1.5 million (1.28 million euros).
The watch, named “Vantara Green Camo,” is a unique design featuring Anant Ambani seated upon a golden throne. It incorporates 397 rare stones, representing the greening efforts within his wildlife reserve, “Vantara,” which spans approximately 12 square kilometers. The design also includes miniature figures of a tiger and a lion, alongside a counter adorned with an elephant motif.
Jacob & Co. created the watch specifically for Anant Ambani. Mukesh Ambani, widely considered the wealthiest person globally through his leadership of Reliance Industries, is the father of the watch’s owner.
This acquisition highlights the continued luxury spending within the Ambani family. The watch represents a significant investment, showcasing the scale of the project and the company’s commitment to conservation.
