Google Integrates AI with YouTube Search via ‘Ask YouTube’ Feature
Google is expanding its integration of artificial intelligence across its product suite, with a new feature recently launched for YouTube. The initiative, dubbed “Ask YouTube,” aims to enhance the user experience by allowing viewers to engage with the platform in a more interactive and comprehensive manner. According to a Google announcement on the YouTube Labs page, “Ask YouTube” enables users to pose complex questions and receive detailed responses that blend video content with associated text information.
The system also incorporates the ability to pose follow-up questions, facilitating deeper exploration of subjects of interest. Users will access the new feature by clicking the “Ask YouTube” button appearing within the YouTube search bar. This will generate suggested questions or allow users to input their own queries.
Following the initial response, users can continue to refine their searches with subsequent questions or select alternative recommendations for related content.
