Zelensky Accuses Russia of Violating May 6th Ceasefire
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reported continued Russian violations of the ceasefire established on May 6th, stating that Russia has maintained active hostilities throughout the day. Speaking to the public, Zelensky attributed the ongoing attacks against Ukrainian cities and communities – including Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, and Kramatorsk – to a deliberate rejection of a ceasefire and a disregard for civilian lives. “Attacks continue in all key front sectors,” he stated. Since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian forces have documented nearly 30 attacks, supported by extensive aerial bombardment. Overnight and into the morning, more than 20 air strikes were recorded, utilizing over 70 bombs.
