LVV believes he can alter his signatures for president; experts have doubts.

Following the Constitutional Court’s decision, Fatmire mulhaxha-kollçaku continues as a presidential candidate, running alongside Glauk konjufca. Despite the requirement for a negotiated agreement, the deputy remains undecided regarding a potential withdrawal from the race. A question was posed: “Have you contemplated the legal possibility of withdrawing your candidacy?”

Mulhaxha-kollçaku responded, stating, “I will provide you with all relevant information at the appropriate time.” Further questioning arose, specifically, “Do you personally harbor any concerns?”

Her reply emphasized coordination with Vetëvendosje, adding, “Everything will be carefully managed in this direction.” However, she acknowledged, “It will be challenging if Vetëvendosje intends to pursue further political strategies in this vein.” Constitutional specialists confirmed that the 60 signatures submitted for the two candidates are irreversible, effectively concluding the process.

“The matter of signatures is now finalized,” they asserted. The situation highlights the complexities surrounding the selection of a president and the need for a workable solution within the political landscape.
