The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Commerce (MINT) has released the maximum allowable retail prices for various oil derivatives, effective for May 28, 2026. These rates were established following a regulatory decision issued on May 4, 2026, concerning the control of derivative pricing. According to the MINT announcement, the established maximum rates are as follows: Diesel is set at 1.58 euros per liter; gasoline is priced at 1.52 euros per liter; and Gas is set at 0.74 euros per liter.
When comparing these figures to the previous day’s rates, only the price of gasoline reflects a reduction of one cent. The maximum allowable prices for both diesel and gas remain unchanged. The ministry confirmed that these new rates will take effect at 10:00 AM.
In addition to announcing the updated fuel costs, MINT provided information for consumers regarding complaint procedures. Citizens who have concerns about these rates or related matters are advised to submit formal complaints via the dedicated email address, konsumatori@rks-gov.net, or by calling the information line at 0800 11000. This advisory ensures that the public is informed about the official pricing structure and the channels available for consumer feedback.

Only the derivative prices were released, which is slightly different from what I expected regarding the fuel costs.
