MPB’s rebuttal to Suzana Ranković

Daut Haradinaj, the Alliance candidate for deputy, addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding the citizenship law, demanding comprehensive transparency and institutional accountability regarding its implementation. Speaking from “Armend Qymyri” street in Gjakova, Haradinaj stated that the truth surrounding the citizenship registration process is being obscured. He asserted that the lack of clarity on such a sensitive state matter is unacceptable.

Haradinaj emphasized the critical need for accountability, noting that the nation requires full clarification for its citizens. He stated that the debate surrounding the citizenship law intensified following its passage, which was approved by the Assembly with the support of the Vetëvendosje Movement and the Serbian List. The core of Haradinaj’s concern centers on the perceived lack of transparency regarding the specifics of the citizenship issue.

He argued that the process needed to be fully visible to the public. In response to Haradinaj’s statements, a representative from MPB addressed the matter directly. The MPB representative stated that Rankoviq is, in fact, a citizen of Kosovo, offering a direct rebuttal to the underlying claims related to the citizenship law debate.

Haradinaj’s remarks underscore the political sensitivity surrounding the law’s provisions and the demand for clear governance on this national issue.
