Xhavit Haliti asks for the trust of the citizens: Your vote, the honor of my life

Xhavit Haliti, the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) candidate for deputy, addressed the public and PDK members on the eve of the September 7 elections, appealing for support in the race for the new Kosovo Parliament legislature. During his public address, Haliti expressed that he felt the “honor to be in the electoral race from the PDK” on this occasion, while also stating that the trust placed in him by the citizens represents an “honor of a lifetime.”

He indicated that his decision to enter the race was prompted by the requests of “many friends, colleagues, and collaborators in Kosovo and abroad.” Haliti articulated his commitment to continuing his service to the nation, drawing a parallel between his efforts during wartime and his current aspirations for peacetime governance. Furthermore, Haliti positioned a victory for the PDK as a significant win for Kosovo as a whole, and he also mentioned the candidacy of Bedri Hamza for prime minister.

Haliti’s message underscored the importance of party unity and the collective mandate from the electorate. His statements focused on maintaining a consistent commitment to national service, framing his participation in the elections as a duty to the country and its people. The address aimed to galvanize support for the PDK platform ahead of the scheduled vote.
