Kosovo Customs has reported conducting a coordinated operation across five locations within the Pristina Region as part of its efforts to combat counterfeit trade and protect intellectual property rights. During the inspections, authorities reportedly found and subsequently seized a significant quantity of suspected counterfeit goods. These items were noted to bear the trademarks of several well-known international brands.
According to the official notice, the approximate value of the confiscated merchandise is estimated at around 200,000 euros. All suspected products have been taken into custody and are currently under the supervision of competent authorities pending further legal proceedings. These enforcement actions were executed in collaboration with the competent Prosecutor’s Office.
The operation underscores the customs agency’s commitment to safeguarding intellectual property rights and curbing the circulation of illicitly manufactured items within the region. The seizure of these goods is part of ongoing efforts to enforce trademark protections and maintain fair trade practices.
