The Municipality of Rahoveci demands urgent repair work on “Xhelal Hajda-Toni” street, warns of legal measures

The Public Services Directorate in Rahovec has issued a directive regarding recent infrastructure repairs on “Xhelal Hajda-Toni” street, deeming the completed work unsatisfactory and failing to meet established technical standards. The notice specifically addresses the resurfacing of a pothole that was executed by a contracted company associated with KRU Gjakova. Following an inspection, the Directorate determined that the asphalted section of the repair did not comply with the required specifications.

Consequently, the local municipality has issued an urgent order demanding the immediate removal of the substandard asphalt. The directive explicitly mandates that the section must be reinstated according to professional engineering standards. The official statement confirms this action, noting that “Following the resurfacing of the pothole on ‘Xhelal Hajda-Toni’ street by the contracted company of KRU Gjakova, we inform you that the urgent removal of this deformed pothole and its execution according to the required standards has been ordered.”
