The process of verifying votes from outside Kosovo continues

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that preparatory procedures are underway at the Central Counting and Results Center (CCRC) to manage various specialized formats of the upcoming election. These formats include provisions for absentee voting, accommodations for persons with special needs, and mechanisms for voting outside Kosovo. Prior to the commencement of ballot counting, the CEC is implementing a comprehensive scanning process for the voter lists utilized at local polling stations.

This measure is designed to verify records and proactively prevent potential instances of double voting. Furthermore, after the collection of ballots submitted via postal voting, a rigorous verification process will be executed to confirm that each ballot originated from a registered voter. Regarding participation from abroad, the procedures are tailored for citizens voting outside Kosovo.

Data indicates that from 30 diplomatic missions, a total of 27,724 registered citizens are participating in the voting process. The CEC has outlined specific protocols to ensure the integrity of these votes. The overall election process emphasizes meticulous verification at every stage—from list scanning to international ballot confirmation—to guarantee the accuracy and legitimacy of the final results.

These ongoing procedural steps are crucial for ensuring that all forms of voting are counted according to established electoral law.
