The Regional Waterworks Company, Mitrovica, has scheduled planned maintenance activities across several areas within the city and surrounding villages. These planned works involve both the water supply and sewage infrastructure. Specific interventions targeting the water supply network will take place on “Mbretëresha Teuta,” “Bajo Topulli,” “Haxhi Qerimi,” and “Tish Daija” streets, as well as in the village of Rekë.
Separately, maintenance on the sewage network is scheduled for “Mbretëresha Teuta” street and the village of Rekë. Mitrovica has issued a notice advising residents that the execution of these works on the water supply network may result in temporary interruptions to the provision of drinking water in the affected zones. Furthermore, following the completion of the technical interventions, temporary turbidity in the water supply is possible.
The company advises the public on necessary precautions to take if the water quality appears turbid after the service has been restored. Residents are urged to follow the guidelines provided by the utility in such instances.
