The Directorate for Agriculture in the Municipality of Rahoveci recently conducted an inspection visit to the village of Fortesë. During this visit, staff members met with farmer Fetah Popaj, who was recognized for his notable dedication and success within the local agricultural sector. The directorate staff received a detailed overview of the crops cultivated on Popaj’s property, spanning a total area of 12 hectares.

The cultivated land is diversified, featuring three hectares dedicated to onions, two hectares for peppers, and two hectares for pumpkins. Additionally, the farm includes 1.5 hectares of eggplant, 1.5 hectares of tomatoes, and one hectare of potatoes. The Directorate for Agriculture emphasized that every cultivated plot and every harvested crop represents the significant dedication and effort of the local farming community.
