Oil is at 1.82 euros, Berjani: Kosovo has the lowest prices in the region.

Fadil Berjani, Chairman of the Kosovo Oil Producers Association, recently assessed the current state of the derivatives market, highlighting Kosovo’s continued advantage in offering lower fuel prices compared to its regional neighbors. The news, reported by Gazeta Express on March 31st, 2026, at 13:35, indicates a favorable situation for Kosovar consumers. Berjani emphasized that the initial impact of the conflict in Ukraine significantly influenced fuel prices.

However, he noted that the market has since stabilized, providing relief for citizens’ budgets. “Our citizens are served with the lowest prices in the region,” Berjani affirmed, underscoring this key benefit. Despite this stabilization, Berjani cautioned that predicting future price movements remains challenging due to volatility in global exchanges.

Current fuel station prices are as follows: Diesel is available from 1.74 euros, while gasoline is priced at 1.82 euros. The situation reflects Kosovo’s strategic position and the efforts of the Oil Producers Association, led by berjani, to maintain competitive prices within the region. These lower prices represent a significant advantage for consumers in Kosovo.
