Who are the new faces in the Kosovo Assembly?

The counting of ballots from voting conducted outside Kosovo, specifically mail-in votes, is ongoing at the Counting and Results Center (CNR). As of 12:30 on Sunday, June 14, 2026, 39 ballot boxes had been processed, following prior approval by the Central Election Commission’s voting service. With approximately 150 ballot boxes remaining to be counted, the final composition of the new legislature in Kosovo is becoming clearer.

Reports indicate that the incoming assembly is anticipated to feature a substantial number of new Members of Parliament, with the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) expected to secure a significant portion of the mandates. Several prominent figures are anticipated to take seats. Osman Musliu, former imam of Drenas, has secured a mandate with approximately 30,000 votes.

Additionally, Arton Konushevci, brother of the martyr Ilir Konushevci, is projected to enter the Assembly after receiving over 27,000 votes. Other individuals expected to secure mandates include actor Armend Baloku and activist Krenare Çerkini, both from the LVV list. Valon Peci, brother of minister Faton Peci, is also anticipated to join the Parliament from the LVV ranks.

Jakup Nura, a former Kosovo Liberation Army fighter, is expected to return to the Assembly with over 21,000 votes. Furthermore, Paris Guri of the Democratic League of Kosovo is expected to regain his parliamentary seat
