The Prosecutor’s Office proposes indictment against the person who damaged the vehicles of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Skopje

The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Skopje has initiated criminal proceedings against a 44-year-old resident suspected of committing the offense of “Endangering Public Safety,” as defined under Article 288 of the Penal Code. Furthermore, the prosecutor has formally proposed the detention of the individual pending trial. According to the official statement from the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the incident occurred on June 15, at approximately 12:00 PM, on “Metropoliti Teodosij Gologanov” Boulevard in Skopje.

The event took place in the vicinity of the Bulgarian Embassy in the city. Details provided indicate that the suspect traveled from his residence to the city center, reportedly utilizing a public bus.

Near the gas station situated close to the Bulgarian Embassy, the individual allegedly filled a plastic bottle with flammable materials. This activity culminated in the setting of fires involving Molotov cocktails, posing a severe threat to the public order and safety of the area.
