“Super Job for Women,” Parliament announces the new scheme for women’s employment

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, addressed the critical role of economic empowerment for women during the inaugural “Women in Business – She Rises 2026” conference. The event, hosted by the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise, Trade, and Innovation, gathered approximately 300 attendees, including entrepreneurs, and representatives from various local and international organizations. During his address, Kurti emphasized that support for enterprises must move beyond mere declarations.

He stressed the necessity of implementing concrete policies and robust programs to facilitate genuine economic growth for female-led initiatives. According to the Prime Minister, an economically independent woman serves as the foundation for a resilient family unit, a progressive society, and a robust national economy. Kurti highlighted that empowering women directly correlates with the creation of sustainable job opportunities across sectors.

He suggested that this empowerment provides a super foundation for national development. The government, he stated, is fully committed to ensuring that equality remains the guiding principle and the singular pathway toward national progress. The conference served as a platform to reinforce the commitment to developing an ecosystem where female entrepreneurship can thrive.

By providing targeted support and policy frameworks, Kosovo aims to maximize the economic contribution of its female population, thereby fostering inclusive growth and solidifying the nation’s path toward stability and development.
