The Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise “Posta e Maqedonisë” has authorized the installation of surveillance cameras on its new fleet of vehicles. This measure is intended to enhance oversight of the package distribution process and identify operational issues that have previously occurred during delivery cycles. During a handover ceremony for three recently acquired vehicles in Veles, Nikolcho Ugrinov, Deputy General Director of “Posta e Maqedonisë,” detailed the scope of the new monitoring system.
Ugrinov stated that the cameras will be strategically placed within the vehicle loading areas to provide comprehensive tracking. This monitoring process is designed to observe the package from the moment it is accepted at the post office through the entire transportation phase until it reaches the final service user. The stated objective is to systematically eliminate anomalies that have been reported during the delivery process.
The vehicles being introduced are models of the “Fiat Dablo,” specified as 2026 models. These new units are equipped with modern amenities, including air conditioning systems, navigation aids, and advanced sensors, complementing the addition of the monitoring cameras. The implementation of this technology reflects a commitment by the enterprise to improve logistical transparency and operational efficiency across its distribution network.
