The Municipality of Podujeva has issued an update regarding traffic flow on “19 Qershori” street due to ongoing construction work on the local sewage collector. According to the municipal announcement, the second operational segment of “19 Qershori” street, specifically the portion leading up to the intersection with “Bahri Fazliu” street (the area near the hospital), remains closed to traffic. Conversely, the initial segment of the street, which had been closed the previous day, has now reopened for circulation.
This reopened section runs from the junction with “Zahir Pajaziti” street, located at “Pranvera,” up to the junction with “Nuhi Gashi” street, situated behind the Theater. To further support vehicle movement amidst these construction activities, the Municipality has implemented an additional measure. To facilitate easier circulation, the parallel street adjacent to “Nuhi Gashi” street will temporarily be converted into a two-lane road.
These adjustments impact several key streets within the area, requiring motorists to navigate revised routes. Authorities advise the public to adhere to the posted signage and follow the designated detours while the necessary infrastructure improvements are completed.
