The Mayor of the Municipality of Kamenica, Kadri Rahimaj, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Arta Bajralija, Director of Capital Investments Blerim Murina, and Director of Public Services, Environment, Inspectorate, and Emergency Zotrim Kastrati, conducted an inspection of ongoing infrastructure developments in the village of Koretin. The visit focused on monitoring the progress of two distinct construction projects within the municipality. During the site visit, officials were briefed on the current status of the road linking the villages of Koretin and Berivojce.
Additionally, the inspection covered the rehabilitation efforts planned for the atmospheric canal situated along the primary “Rafet Isufi” road. According to official announcements from the municipality, the project for the Koretin–Berivojce road carries a financial value of 252,664.85 euros, and construction works have officially commenced on site. The presence of the mayor and departmental directors underscored the municipal commitment to improving local connectivity and public utilities across Kamenica.
The inspection confirmed that the municipal leadership is closely overseeing the execution of these vital improvements. The rehabilitation of the canal is expected to enhance drainage and infrastructure resilience, while the new road connection aims to improve accessibility between the two communities.
