Cycle Kosovo for Children raises €16,000 for the Pediatric Clinic, continues campaign toward the €25,000 goal

The 12th edition of Cycle Kosovo for Children (CKC), organized in partnership with Action for Mothers and Children (AMC), has successfully raised €16,000. These funds are designated for the acquisition of essential medical equipment intended to support children in Kosovo facing critical health conditions, as well as those managing diabetes. The fundraising campaign remains active online throughout October, with organizers setting a goal of €25,000 to enhance services within the Intensive Care and Endocrinology departments at the Pediatric Clinic in Pristina.

The physical component of the initiative involved a dedicated effort by over 40 cyclists. Between September 18 and 21, these participants completed a demanding ride, covering more than 500 kilometers and accumulating thousands of meters of elevation gain. This extensive cycling demonstrated the community’s commitment to improving pediatric healthcare infrastructure across Kosovo.

The concluding ceremony for the event was held at Miqt Pub in Pristina and featured a charity short play, with proceeds from the performance further bolstering the cause. The collective participation underscores a sustained effort to benefit the health of vulnerable children. The continued momentum from the cycle event highlights the community’s dedication to advancing medical care standards for children throughout the region.
