The Government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science, is initiating resources to ensure the timely supply and distribution of school textbooks for the upcoming academic year. This year’s process has commenced earlier than in the previous two years, marking a notable improvement compared to the last seven years under the former administration. According to the Ministry of Education’s announcement in Macedonia, the previous period included instances where school textbooks were not printed in certain years.
Officials stated that they now assess the establishment of a stable system for the supply and distribution of these essential educational materials. The administration noted that resolving this issue, which was previously unresolved, required significant effort and time to overcome, alongside addressing other challenges. The Government and the Minister have indicated that this area will remain a continued focus of their efforts.
The proactive steps taken this year aim to guarantee that all students have access to necessary textbooks when the academic year begins.
