According to an official statement, the period saw the reporting of two traffic accidents that resulted in material damage. In conjunction with these safety measures, police units issued a total of 224 fines to drivers and vehicles found in violation of established traffic regulations.
The issued fines were distributed across several specific violations, providing a clear overview of the areas of concern. The highest number of infractions related to speeding, accounting for 74 of the total fines. Additionally, 31 fines were issued for failing to comply with posted traffic signs, while 27 fines targeted instances of illegal parking.
Further detailing the enforcement actions, the police recorded 17 fines for operating vehicles with expired registration documents. Violations related to licensing included 11 fines for driving without a valid driver’s license, and 4 fines were issued specifically for the dangerous practice of using mobile phones while operating a vehicle. The remaining 60 fines covered miscellaneous traffic infractions.
