A single-vehicle accident occurred this morning, around 9:20 AM, on the “Ibrahim Rugova” highway. The incident took place at kilometer 58, traveling in the direction of Malishevë–Prishtinë. Kosovo Police confirmed the details to Telegrafi through Luljeta Mehmeti.
The accident involved a truck transporting gravel. According to police reports, the incident resulted in the gravel load scattering across the roadway. Luljeta Mehmeti stated that, based on reports from units on the ground, traffic on this section of the highway is currently restricted to a single lane.
Police units and relevant teams are on site and are managing the necessary procedures to restore full traffic flow. The Kosovo Police issued a call to all traffic participants, urging them to adhere strictly to established traffic regulations. Authorities are working to clear the debris and manage the scene following the accident to ensure the prompt resumption of normal traffic operations on the ibrahim highway.
