An incident involving an overturned trailer occurred this morning on the Demir Kapı – Gjirokastër highway, according to reports from the Internal Works Sector – Veles. The accident took place near Negotinë, specifically after the T-2 tunnel. Authorities reported that at approximately 8:00 AM, a 58-year-old male, identified as a resident of the Republic of Serbia, lost control of his vehicle.
The individual was operating a Mercedes-type truck that was pulling a Serbian-plated trailer. The resulting accident caused the trailer to overturn on the highway. Officials confirmed that the incident resulted only in material damage, and no injuries were reported.
Following the accident, an inspection team from the DPB – Negotinë was dispatched to the scene to assess the situation. Due to the overturned trailer and debris, traffic flow on the highway was temporarily restricted.
