The Ministry Inspectorate carried out an operation today within the Ujmani area with the objective of reclaiming properties belonging to the “Ibër-Lepenc” enterprise. These properties, the Ministry stated, were allegedly usurped in the northern part of the country and are intended to be returned to administrative control. Fitore Pacolli, the Minister responsible for the Environment, Spatial Planning, and Natural Infrastructure, publicized details of the operation by posting photographs of the work on the Facebook platform.
In his accompanying message, Pacolli emphasized the critical importance of safeguarding water resources. He stated, “Protecting the waters is our main priority. For this reason, we will continue to protect, responsibly manage, and develop them as a vital resource for Kosovo.”
The announcement, which was shared via Telegrafi, indicates a governmental effort to assert control over specific assets and natural resources in the northern regions.
The focus remains heavily placed on environmental stewardship, suggesting that the reclamation efforts are linked to broader water management strategies for Kosovo. The operation took place in the Ujmani area, highlighting the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining oversight in this specific area.
