The Kosovo sports team held a six-day professional camp in Germany

A group of six young athletes and two coaches representing the national sport climbing effort from Kosovo participated in a specialized professional training camp in Wernigerode, Germany. The intensive training took place from April 21 to April 26, organized in collaboration with the DAV-Wernigerode club. The participants included coaches Virtyt Morina of the Marimangat club in Peja and Fidan Abazi from the Trail Explorer Kosovo club in Mitrovica.

The athletes involved were Dielli Veseli, Amar Anadolli, Resul Reqkoviq, Dior Sokoli, Mat Morina, and Ajza Abazi. The primary objective of the camp was to provide the young climbers with crucial professional experience in sport climbing. This rigorous preparation aimed to enhance their technical proficiency and build capacity in advance of participation in various regional and world-class competitions.

Over the six days, the athletes and coaches engaged in dynamic and comprehensive training sessions. The structure of the camp allowed the members of this developing team to work under professional guidance. The involvement of local German climbing infrastructure provided a valuable platform for the athletes from Kosovo to test their skills against international standards.
