Three illegal connections discovered on the water supply network in the Veternik and Kalabri neighborhoods

The Regional Water Supply Company “Prishtina” reported the identification of three instances of illegal water connections during routine operations conducted across the Veternik and Kalabria neighborhoods. According to the company’s statement, field teams discovered these unauthorized connections while performing scheduled inspections of the water supply network. The announcement specified that two of the illegal connections were located within the Veternik neighborhood.

KRU “Prishtina” confirmed that these findings are part of ongoing enforcement efforts. The company stated, “Three illegal connections today in Veternik and the Kalabria neighborhood. We continue with actions,” indicating a sustained commitment to monitoring the infrastructure.

In a public appeal, the Regional Water Supply Company urged residents to adhere to established regulations and refrain from making unauthorized connections. The company emphasized that such illegal additions place undue strain on the overall water supply system and negatively affect the service reliability for legitimate, paying consumers. The identification and addressing of these illegal connections are crucial for maintaining the integrity and operational efficiency of the municipal water network serving the Prishtina region.
