During the second registration session for the 2026/2027 academic year, a total of 15,705 students were officially registered for high school enrollment. The Ministry of Education and Science provided a detailed breakdown of the student body based on language of instruction. Specifically, 11,171 students were registered for instruction in the Macedonian language, followed by 4,241 students registered for instruction in Albanian.
Furthermore, the data indicated that 279 students were registered for instruction in Turkish, and 14 students were registered for instruction in Serbian. By educational track, the enrollment figures showed a concentration in vocational training. A total of 10,823 students were registered in vocational education, while 4,653 students were registered in gymnasium education.
Additionally, 229 students were registered for the sports academy. The selection process for artistic education, which is held at the MASH complex, has not yet concluded. Logistically, the second session took place on September 23, with the deadline for submitting necessary documentation to the respective schools set for September 24.
The Ministry confirmed that the registration numbers reflect the current intake of students for the upcoming academic cycle.
