MPB Macedonia has reported detentions involving six drivers over the past 24 hours due to various traffic violations across the national territory. The enforcement action highlighted several concerning lapses in safe driving practices. Among the violations documented, five drivers were found operating vehicles without the requisite driver’s license.
Of these individuals, two were found to be intoxicated while driving. In contrast, one other incident at the Deve Bair Border Crossing involved a driver operating a vehicle while utilizing an active passenger seatbelt. The locations cited for the documented violations included Skopje, Gostivar, Kumanovo, Kavadar, and Prilep, where drivers were observed operating vehicles without proper licensing or while intoxicated.
Following the thorough documentation of these specific cases, appropriate criminal charges are scheduled to be filed against the involved parties. MPB Macedonia issued a public appeal to all participants in traffic. The authorities stressed the critical importance of adhering strictly to established traffic rules and regulations.
