The Regional Water Supply Company “Mitrovica” has issued a public advisory regarding scheduled maintenance and technical interventions across its critical water and sewage infrastructure. These necessary works are designed to restore and improve the functionality of the local utility networks. The scope of the water supply network interventions covers several specific locations.
Areas undergoing work on the potable water system include Zasellë Village, Suhodoll Village, Rekë Village, and several named thoroughfares. Specifically, maintenance will be conducted on “Korça” Street, “Ali Zeneli” Street, “Teuta Queen” Street, “Afrim Xh. Hyseni” Street, “Dëshmorët e Kombit” Street, and “Isak Ibrahimi” Street.
Separately, the company announced work on the sewage network. These sewage system upgrades are scheduled for “Hoxhë Hasan Tahsini” Street, “Ukshin Kovaqica” Street, and the “Katari” Neighborhood within Frashër Village. Residents are advised of potential temporary disruptions to the water supply.
Following the completion of the technical interventions and the restoration of the drinking water service, the water may appear temporarily turbid. The company advises that if the water runs cloudy, residents should allow the tap to flow continuously for several minutes until the water clears completely, ensuring optimal quality before use. These measures are essential for maintaining the integrity of the community’s water and sewage systems.
