As of 12:00 today, the Republic of Macedonia (RMV) reported seven fires in open areas, according to the Crisis Management Center. Of these incidents, five remain active, while two have been successfully extinguished. The active incidents are spread across different municipalities within the territory.
The first ongoing fire is located in the Shuto Orizare municipality, near the “Xhi Komerc,” where debris and dry grass are burning. A second active fire is reported in the Old Nagoriçani municipality, specifically in the village of Rugince, affecting low vegetation, straw, and dry grass. Furthermore, a forest fire is burning in the village of Sretenovo, within the Dojrani municipality.
The remaining two active fires are situated in the Veles territory. One is along the Veles-Shtip highway near Çoloshevo, involving low vegetation and dry grass, while the other involves burning debris at the city’s landfill. Among the fires that have been extinguished today, one incident occurred in the Dollneni municipality, in a specific village.
The report indicates that the management center is monitoring the situation across the affected areas.
