RCC shares prices for women entrepreneurs in the Balkans, Flandra Marmullaku among the winners

The Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) recently convened in Sarajevo to announce the recipients of the “Women Entrepreneurs of the Year 2026” award for the Western Balkans. The ceremony celebrated significant contributions to regional economic development, recognizing exceptional achievements across innovation, creativity, and sustainability. The selection process reviewed approximately 180 nominations received from various parts of the Western Balkans, culminating in the selection of six distinguished women entrepreneurs.

These winners were chosen for their demonstrable impact and pioneering efforts within their respective communities. The six recipients honored at the event include Jori Vila, Tamara Duriq, Flandra Marmullaku, Aleksandra Simoni, Marija Kukunoska, and Zheljana Vuloviq. A notable recognition was awarded in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Flandra Marmullaku, who hails from Kosovo and is the founder of Data4X, was named the Entrepreneur in ICT. Her award acknowledges the development and implementation of sophisticated solutions utilizing artificial intelligence and advanced data analysis, tools that are proving instrumental in assisting local businesses across the region. The RCC’s initiative underscores the vital role that female leadership plays in fostering sustainable economic growth throughout the Western Balkans.
