The incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Lopburi municipal zoo, located in the Pho Kao Ton sub-district of the Mueang Lopburi district. During the pursuit, zoo staff managed to prevent a larger group, estimated at over 1,000 other primates, from escaping the premises.
