A 25-year-old man, who had been reported missing after entering the Battle Lake, was located deceased on Tuesday. Vëllazërim Qerimi of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK) confirmed the finding to Telegrafi, reporting that the victim’s body was discovered during the ongoing search and rescue operation. Qerimi stated that the search for the missing 25-year-old continued in the Battle Lake, confirming, “They have found the victim without signs of life.
They are now undergoing other procedures.”
Following the recovery of the body, competent authorities commenced preliminary procedures at the scene. The full circumstances surrounding the incident are anticipated to be clarified subsequent to official investigations. The official FSK page also reported that rescue teams from the Security Force continued their efforts after two days of searching in the area.
