LAMM: Communication is developing on wet roads but without problems

According to LAMM, the general status of communication across state roads is currently proceeding without reported issues. Traffic intensity on roads situated outside of major urban centers has been assessed as moderate. Furthermore, border crossings on the Macedonian side are no longer experiencing significant delays for both entry into and exit from the country.

LAMM advises motorists to maintain regulated speeds while strictly adhering to all established traffic signals. The agency emphasizes the necessity of careful driving practices, particularly when traversing challenging terrain such as valleys, river valleys, and steep slopes, due to the ongoing possibility of landslides. These cautionary recommendations are specifically highlighted for several key sections of the state roads.

Areas requiring heightened vigilance include the routes connecting Katllanovë to Veles, Mavrovë to Dibër to Strugë, Vinicë to Berovë, and Koçan to Dellçevë. Overall, while the network of roads remains operational, authorities urge all travelers to exercise due diligence. Adherence to posted speed limits and awareness of local road conditions are paramount for ensuring safe travel throughout North Macedonia.

This advisory serves to keep the public informed regarding the operational status of the country’s infrastructure.
