Heavy rain showers impacted the villages of Dardani and Zllatar within the Municipality of Ferizaj on the afternoon of July 1, 2026. Images circulated by Meteo Ballkan on social media indicated the high intensity of the rainfall, suggesting a significant volume of water accumulated rapidly. These downpours resulted in material damage across the Lower Valley of Viti, and at least one residential structure sustained severe damage.
Although the localized rain events dissipated relatively quickly, they caused noticeable material impact. Furthermore, downpours were reported in the Municipality of Viti. In addition to minor property damage, one house in this area was also reported as severely damaged due to the inclement weather.
The reports confirm that the heavy rain affected multiple locations within the Ferizaj region. The combination of intense, localized rainfall created multiple instances of material damage across both the Viti and Dardani/Zllatar areas.
