The Juniku Municipality announces a water supply blockage due to construction work

The Municipality of Juniku has issued a notice informing residents and farmers about necessary disruptions to a local water infrastructure. The irrigation canal, which runs from the Gacafer neighborhood toward the city center, specifically behind the mosque, will be temporarily blocked for three consecutive days to accommodate essential maintenance work. According to the official notification, these interventions on the canal are expected to temporarily impact the availability of water for irrigation in the surrounding areas.

Municipal authorities have appealed to the community for patience and understanding throughout the duration of the work. The notice explicitly advises, “All citizens and farmers are informed that the irrigation canal running from the Gacafer neighborhood to the center (behind the mosque) will be blocked for three consecutive days due to work on this canal.”

The Municipality of Juniku has addressed the agricultural community, requesting that farmers exercise understanding during this period of temporary service discontinuation. The municipal body stressed the importance of the work while asking all residents to cooperate with the temporary closure of the canal.

This planned maintenance aims to ensure the continued functionality of the vital water supply system serving the Juniku area.
