A 12-year-old was assaulted; two minors from Skopje were questioned by the police in the presence of their parents.

Two minors were questioned at the police station in connection with an incident of alleged violence involving a young girl in the Aerodrom municipality of Skopje. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) confirmed that criminal charges will be filed against all parties involved once the investigation into the case is fully concluded. According to the MIA statement, the incident took place on September 30th, around 10:00 PM.

The details were reported on January 1, 2026, by a 31-year-old woman who stated her 12-year-old daughter had been physically attacked in a local park. The MIA detailed the sequence of events, noting that the 12-year-old girl was initially confronted by a 14-year-old minor, who was accompanied by a friend. During this initial encounter, the girl was reportedly forced on two separate occasions to kneel and apologize.

Following this interaction, and after she had left the immediate area, she was subsequently subjected to a physical attack by another individual. Authorities are continuing their inquiry into the matter. The questioning of the two minors represents a key step in the process.

The MIA emphasized that the investigation aims to establish all facts surrounding the assault that occurred in the Skopje area. Further updates regarding the charges against those implicated in the incident are expected following the comprehensive review of evidence pertaining to this year’s case.
