The official roster for the national basketball team of Kosovo has been published ahead of their contest against Albania. The highly anticipated match is scheduled to take place today, Thursday, in Prizren, with tip-off set for 7:00 PM. The game serves as a key fixture in the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 pre-qualifying tournament.
The Kosovo squad commenced its preparations on June 17 and, according to reports, is fully ready to face the challenge presented by Albania. Selectors finalized a squad of 12 players selected from an initial pool of 15 athletes. Among the key names included in the final roster are Dardan Berisha, Drilon Hajrizi, Mikaile Tmusic, and Lis Shoshi.
The team will, however, operate with several key absences due to injury concerns. Valon Bunjaku, Gëzim Morina, and Rron Ukaj are confirmed as unavailable for the match. Despite these injuries, the composition of the team suggests a focused effort for the upcoming competition.
Both nations approach the fixture with the goal of securing crucial points in the pre-qualifying standings.
