The self-improvement application RiseGuide has initiated a program featuring a “Global Charisma Scout” to assess social dynamics in various international locations. Under this initiative, the appointed scout will be paid $3,000 (equivalent to 2,630 euros) per month for an eight-week period dedicated to global travel. The core responsibility involves recording conversations with native speakers from diverse backgrounds.
The data collected will be used to develop a comprehensive European Charisma Index. Specifically, applicants will be tasked with evaluating various cities based on three metrics: perceived warmth, conversational ease, and overall approachability. This index aims to pinpoint geographical areas where initiating conversations proves easiest for newcomers.
To qualify for the role, applicants must demonstrate high levels of energy, sociability, independence, and a genuine enjoyment of human interaction. Logistically, candidates must be prepared to travel within the European Union and maintain a minimalist lifestyle for the duration of the assignment. While not mandatory, proficiency in a second language is noted as an advantage.
The overall scope of the project requires the scout to travel across multiple European locales, providing a detailed, ground-level analysis of cross-cultural communication dynamics.
